Approaching Difficult Issues: The Case of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. This program is the first installment of a new program for the Peace Center called “Civil Society Series.” We will be using the issue of searching for peace in the Middle East as a test case of how we discuss issues with those with whom we disagree. It is a central part of Quaker philosophy to find ways to discuss difficult issues, to find common ground between the parties, and in this way to build better understanding and approaches to resolving the issues at hand.
